Unfortunately, injuries took their toll on Joe Dahl. The decision by the Lions to free up $ 2.84 million in salary cap by releasing Dahl is in the best interest of the Lions. Based on past seasons and the COVID-19 adverse affect on the 2021 NFL Salary Cap, I'm highly optimistic there will be better and lower price veteran Interior Offensive Line depth options for many months.
