Packers release former Lions RT Rick Wagner ......
In the many Packers games ( complete or partial ) I watched, Rick Wagner didn't look even close to the 25th best Offensive Tackle in the NFL. If the post-season was included in the Rankings, Wagner's grade would likely be noticeably lower. The Bucs gave him fits as a pass blocker in the NFC Championship game.
I hope the Lions don't attempt to sign Wagner again, even at a relatively low price. He's going to be 32 in October. Wagner doesn't fit the long term approach the Lions have.

Report: Raiders to release Gabe Jackson
.....
Gabe Jackson turns 30 this summer. Though Jackson would probably be a good short term addition for the Lions, the cost of signing him likely would exceed his longer term value to the Lions.

Tom Telesco not putting all his focus on Chargers offensive line
Report: Chargers trying to trade Trai Turner
Trai Turner's contract will make it highly unlikely that the LA Chargers will be able to trade him. Especially, with Turner's injury history. I'm expecting Turner to be released this month, even though the Chargers have one of the better salary cap situations for 2021.
Because of the Anthony Lynn connection with Trai Turner and that Turner doesn't turn 28 until June, Turner is probably on the Lions radar screen. With a MUCH more team favorable contract, if Turner would get the green light from the Lions medical staff, he would make plenty of sense to sign.

Vikings release Riley Reiff
........
I don't believe Riley Reiff is a good fit to have a 2nf stint with the Lions, based on him turning 33 this coming December, the Lions long range approach, and Reiff very likely will cost more financially than his value to the Lions. Yet, for teams that are much closer to Super Bowl contention than the Lions, Reiff would make sense for some of them. Providing, they are trying to fill a hole at Guard or at RT. Reiff is overmatched at LT against high quality edge players.

Chiefs release Eric Fisher, Mitchell Schwartz
........
Without both Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz, the Chiefs Offensive Line was overmatched against the Bucs Defensive Line pass rush in the Super Bowl. Both were amongst the best players in the NFL at their respective Offensive Tackle positions. Yet, moving forward, there's plenty of uncertainty whether they will ever get back to their previous levels.
For the Lions, I don't think either Tackle is a good fit. Both are over 30, coming off major injuries. Schwartz will be 32 in June and likely will get a better contract than he's worth to the Lions. Fisher turned 30 in January. With Taylor Decker coming off arguably a Pro Bowl caliber season, it's hard to imagine a fit for the Lions and Fisher that both parties would be comfortable with.

Chargers cutting Trai Turner
......
Definitely not a surprise. The question now becomes, how will the Lions proceed once Trai Turner is officially on the open market and doesn't count in the NFL Compensatory Pick Formula for 2022 Draft Picks?

Detroit Lions free agency preview: Offensive line looking like a strength worth building around
......
Darryl Williams and Jon Feliciano re-signed with the Bills since this article was written...
Joe Dahl might not be on the Lions roster much longer because of his contract.
The Lions probably should wait until at least the 1st phase of the FA period is over to address the Offensive Line unless a good value option ( s ) is available. There probably will be good value on the Free Agent market at all Offensive Line positions for months, once a number of Offensive Lineman don't get the type of contracts they were expecting.
