Of the 7 players mentioned in the article as potential Salary Cap Casualties by the Lions, the only one I hope the Lions even consider retaining under his current contract is Danny Shelton.

The only remaining Lions question with Desmond Trufsnt and Justin Coleman is whether one or both would remain on the roster if they are willing to restructure their contracts enormously downward? I would be surprised if either is on the Lions roster at the start of the FA period in 15 days.
