Such as playing on the road in loud stadiums and in weather elements such as snow, rain, and/ or wind. The teams that adapt the best while have major advantages compared to teams on the other side of the spectrum.

Matthew Stafford and at least one teammate being asked about the QB kneeling during the U.S. National Anthem is an illustration of what Batchrules mentioned in the game thread about Stafford creating a distraction.

I wonder if Stafford would have kneeled if a regular sized crowd for a Lions home game against a divisional opponent would have been present? I have my doubts.

The Lions lost all 3 games that Matthew Stafford threw an interception. The Lions won the other game ( in Arizona ) , with Stafford not throwing an interception. Protecting the football is essential for this team. The Lions Defense hasn't been good enough for the Lions to overcome turning over the ball.

Based on the overall throws Matthew Stafford made once tape was put on his thumb and wrist and that the x-ray results were negative, I'm optimistic that he will be able to make all his usual throws at Carolina this coming Sunday. Hopefully, Stafford will be cleared to get a high % of the QB practice reps this week.

Assuming the NFL Network report is accurate, the questions become is their significant risk to Matthew Stafford's hand if he plays with the current injury? If pain is an issue, can the Lions and Stafford come up with an effective way allowable by the Lions for him to manage the pain?.

Unlike in the games in 2011 when Stafford was dealing with throwing hand injuries, he looked like his usual self throwing the ball against the Bears the other day.
