Hopefully, Antoine Green will make a full recovery.

Green was on the Lions 53 man roster his entire rookie season with the team. That's a key indicator that the Lions brass saw plenty of potential with Green as an NFL player.

Based on what I read, Green was up and down in training camp this summer. He was heavily in the mix for one of the Lions final WR roster spots.

If as expected Green clears waivers, I think he could be back with the Lions (either on the 53 man roster and /or P.S) sometime later this season. (Before then, an injury settlement seems likely.) So much depends on Green's health.

Whether Antoine Green would have emerged as the X receiver with size is uncertain.

It's very unfortunate that Green suffered a concussion that puts his NFL future in doubt. Even if Green isn't cleared to play again, most importantly, hopefully the concussion won't impact his health over the long term.
