To the best of my knowledge, the Colts are the only NFL team of the 5 that currently have a Head Coach vacancy that has interviewed Aaron Glenn or even requested a HC interview with the Lions for Glenn, in 2023.

At this time, there's nothing to indicate that Glenn is the favorite or even close to being the favorite, to land the Colts HC job.

While Colts owner Jim Irsay is willing to spend money, he's a hands on owner who made the bizarre decision to fire HC Frank Reich, with former Colts C Jeff Saturday (who had no coaching experience) becoming interim HC. A case can be made that Glenn would be better off remaining with the Lions as DC. With the opportunity to increase his HC stock in the 2023 season with a Lions team that has plenty of young Defensive talent that should continue to improve with experience. As well as the Lions having a prime 2023 Draft picks situation.

The greatest obstacle for Aaron Glenn to get an NFL Head Coach job with another team this year is selling him to the team's fan base, as a result of the Lions Defensive Rankings in most categories, in the 2022 season. It's going to take an owner with vision to approve the hiring of Glenn as HC. When the dust settles, it's much more likely than not that Glenn won't get a HC offer this year from the Colts, Cardinals, or any team with a HC vacancy.
