Free agent CB Quinton Dunbar set to visit the Lions
Briefly
The Lions will host cornerback Quinton Dunbar on a free agent visit next week, NFL Network reported. Dunbar, who made six starts last season for the Seattle Seahawks, was arrested on armed robbery charges last spring that were later dropped. The charges stemmed from an incident in which Dunbar and cornerback Deandre Baker allegedly stole jewelry and money at gunpoint from people at a house party as retaliation for gambling losses a night earlier. Dunbar battled a knee injury much of last season.

When relatively healthy, Quinton Dunbar has often been one of the best CBs in the NFL. The problem is Dunbar has played in less than 50 % of regular season games in the last 3 seasons combined.
The lack of durability and the need to do a thorough character check on Dunbar (that much more compared to most players the Lions are considering trying to sign ) are what the Lions need to examine closely before deciding how to proceed with Dunbar.

The 2019 version of Quinton Dunbar would be an enormous addition for the Lions.
