This is a good value decision by the Lions, which could turn into a great value decision. Breshad Perriman has a highly favorable size-speed combination. Perriman probably had his best NFL game in his first 6 NFL seasons in Detroit, while with Tampa Bay. In that Dec. 2019 game, Perriman scored 3 TDs and had a 100 + yard receiving performance. The Lions Secondary was no match for Perriman and the Bucs WRs that afternoon. The latter sounds familiar.
Breshad Perriman turns 28 this coming December. He's around a couple of months older than Kenny Golladay. Perriman is still young enough that he can potentially be an important part of a Lions winning formula .
I was a huge fan of Brett Perriman. He was a passionate player, who had a great sense of humor. Much like Everson Griffen. Brett Perriman had his best seasons with the NFL and was a key player on 4 Lions playoff teams. I'm very glad that his son Breshad now has direct connection to the Lions as well!
