2021 Detroit Lions free agent profile: Could Jalen Reeves-Maybin finally get a shot under a new regime?

Unless the new Lions brass believes Jalen Reeves-Maybin will be much more effective as a LB under the new Defensive System than under Matt Patricia's system, it's best that the Lions don't offer him more than the NFL Veteran Minimum. JRM is a good to very good Special Teams Player. But for the Lions to retain JRM at a higher price in a year in which most teams, including the Lions, will be substantionally limited by the Salary Cap, he needs to at least be a solid depth option at LB.
