My line of thinking is basically the same as it was at the end of April:
The Lions coming to a contract agreement with Taylor Decker is probably going to take more compromise than in most contract negotiations with NFL veteran players. How much does Decker value financial security compared to letting the 2020 season play itself out could easily be the difference in whether the two parties come to a contract agreement in the next 9 plus months.
I'm not sure if the following will prove significant. But one thing that comes to mind is none of the coaches, including Matt Patricia, were with the Lions, when Bob Quinn selected Taylor Decker in the 1st Round of the 2016 Draft.
The question I have is being that NFL players take an annual physical, wouldn't that include being tested for blood sugar level? Hence, the players would know whether they have diabetes?
