No surprise at all that Sam Martin is leaving the Lions to sign with another team.
Ironically, Martin will be playing for the team that Matt Prater broke the record for the longest FG in NFL history.
Denver is an excellent place for Kickers and Punters. With Sam Martin having a strong leg, he easily could be amongst the NFL leaders in Gross Punting Avg. and Touchback % ( if he's used on Kickoffs ).
I wish Sam Martin and his family well in Denver. An asset on and off the field!
