Very unfortunate news again for Emmanuel Moseley. I'm confident that Moseley is going to try to make it back to game action for the Lions later this season. How effective Moseley would be if he does make it back remains to be seen. The Lions can't count on Moseley, based on his injury history. It's a sad reality.

I believe the Lions would also have the option of having Emmanuel Moseley remain on the Lions roster through the Cutdown to 53. Then, later that week, place him on Short Term/ In-Season IR.

How the Lions proceed with Moseley will probably come down to whether one or more other Lions players, that would be on the 53 man roster if relatively healthy, suffer major injuries much like John Cominsky and Emmanuel Moseley have this summer.
