Congratulations to Amon-Ra. St. Brown on the contract extension he agreed to with the Lions. Hard work and dedication certainly paid off for ARSB! He exceeded the expectations of practically everyone, other than himself and those closest to him.

The guaranteed money is most significant when it comes to a lucrative contract, such as this one. The Lions giving ARSB $77 million in guaranteed money speaks volumes of what Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell, among MANY others in the Lions organization, think of ARSB! He's definitely a key cornerstone player for the Lions and will be paid like one.

Amon-Ra St. Brown has from the Lions over $77 million guaranteed by injury, which is around $ 31 million more guaranteed than Michael Pittman received from the Colts. AMSR has much more financially security than Michael Pittman, though Pittman is in a great financial situation as well if he invests his money well. If Pittman ends up getting more money than ARSB, AMSR has nothing to regret by going with the greater financial security route.

Combined that with the Lions treating players very well and rewarding players for excellence, the roster the Lions have assembled, and high caliber coaching, the Lions are in position to be amongst the best teams in the NFL for multiple seasons.
