This is welcome news. With the 2024 season being the final season of the rookie contract Amon-Ra St. Brown signed and the ultra-multifaceted value AMSR provides the Lions, it's imperative that the Lions work out a contract extension with him this off-season.

From my point of view, the Lions need to sign Jared Goff, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Alim McNeill to contract extensions this off-season. If they remain relatively healthy, it's going to cost more to get them re-signed each game in the regular season they have good performances. The Lions don't need the distraction of them not being signed once training camp begins. Freeing up some salary cap space with a contract extension for Taylor Decker should seriously be considered.

It's not difficult to see why the Lions gave Amon-Ra St. Brown a lucrative multi-contract extension. I'm totally confident that St. Brown will continue to take the approach that led him to the point that the Lions were willing to open up the vault to retain him for a long time to come.

Since the early days when the late great/ Bert Bell was NFL Commissioner, the NFL has had at least one Injury Report leading up to a game. The NFL takes non-disclosure on injury reports very seriously, with the concern of games potentially being fixed because of gambling a primary reason why.

I'm anticipating the Lions being fined.

I believe the Lions are going to be more aggressive than most teams regardless of the confidence Dan Campbell has in Jake Bates as the Lions Kicker or regardless of who the Kicker is. Yet, I also believe that Coach Campbell was that much more aggressive in most of his 3 seasons as Lions HC, because he wasn't confident enough in the Kicker the Lions had at the time.

I'm not concerned at all that Amon-Ra St. Brown only had 3 receptions for 13 yards. The stat that matters the most by far is the score of the game. The Lions won the game in OT. St. Brown helped prevent an interception on the Lions final set of downs before the game tying FG by Jake Bates. St. Brown is a leader and a total team player. He clearly demonstrated both in this game and following the game.
