Huge short-term addition for the Lions! Kevin Zeitler was probably the Lions best 1 year Guard option remaining on the open market. Zeitler has a wealth of Guard experience in the NFL, who has been an asset as a run blocker and as a pass blocker. If Zeitler's physical skills don't recline significantly or more than that in 2024, he's arguably a better option for the 2024 season than Jonah Jackson. With Zeitler costing much less. While Jackson has better mobility and is better in space, Jackson is more consistent vs. power.
Most likely, Graham Glasgow will move from RG to LG, with Kevin Zeitler playing RG, the position he has most of his NFL playing experience at. Glasgow played LG for the Lions during part of his first stint with the team.
