At the very least, the Lions need to have major Kicker competition. Michael Badgley's history on FGs longer than 45 yards probably influenced Dan Campbell's decisions to go for a 1st Down in two 4th Down situations in the 2nd Half of the NFC Championship Game. Badgley doesn't have the track record to be the primary option on a team with legit Super Bowl winning aspirations.
