I'm not sure if Scott Daly became much more consistent to the satisfaction of Brad Holmes, Dan Campbell, and Dave Fipp, or age/ wear and tear caught up to Jake McQuaide. I'm definitely surprised that McQuaide is gone this early. It's better for him from the standpoint that another team could sign him, with a few weeks of evaluation before the cutdown to 53. It will be interesting to see if the Lions sign another LS in the coming days to provide Daly with new competition. And regardless, how Daly performs in the pre-season games.
Bobby Hart is better with power and in close quarters than with finesse and in space. I recall seeing Hart in many games at RT with the Bengals and as a RG during his NFL career. He might be an upgrade at RT over anyone on the Lions current roster.
