Tom Kennedy will very likely be offered a P.S. another Practice Squad contract by the Lions if he clears waivers.
My guess is that the Lions brass is concerned about the illness that some players on the Lions have, spreading. Hence, the decision to elevate Joshua Dobbs for the Jets game. It's possible the Dobbs elevation for the game was done for the purpose of the Jets needing to spend time today preparing for Dobbs, including a 'Wildcat Package'.
