With Tom Kennedy likely going to be needed for the game at New England, it makes sense to sign him from the Practice Squad. Kennedy has already been elevated once from the P.S. this season. Later this season, if the Lions decide to release Kennedy again, he clears waivers, and signs another P.S. contract with the Lions, he could be elevated from the P.S. two more times.
