This season, a player placed on IR any time after the Cutdown to 53 needs to be on IR for at least 4 games.

It's highly likely that Jermar Jefferson will be on the Lions Game Day roster for the Bears game. The question is will Jefferson get a 53-man roster contract in the days leading up to the game in Chicago?


The Lions will probably sign another RB to the Practice Squad by sometime next week.

Craig Reynolds returns to practice, starting his 21-day activation clock

Because Craig Reynolds is an asset on Special Teams, in addition to his all-around RB abilities, and that Dan Campbell has a highly favorable opinion of Reynolds from a team culture standpoint, I think there's a better than even chance the Lions will find a spot for him on the 53 man roster in the coming weeks, if Reynolds is relatively healthy.
