Breshad Perriman is very likely going to get plenty of opportunities this summer because of his physical talent, $ 2 million of his 2021 salary is guaranteed, and the Lions options on the current roster at the outside WR positions are arguably the worst in the NFL.
Tyrell Williams, when relatively healthy is at least a solid option. No one else on the current roster fits that description on the outside. Much more reliability on the field is needed from Perriman than his reported Minicamp overall performance.
While the Pass Interference call against Breshad Perriman looked questionable to me, what matters is Dan Campbell in essence believes is Perriman could have gotten open without even being at risk for a an Offensive P.I. penalty on the play.
Even if Breshad Perriman is on the Lions opening day 53 man roster, which is at most 50-50 based on Campbell's comments, I have doubts that he will satisfy the coaches enough to maintain his roster spot all season long.
