The groin injury that limited Frank Ragnow in practice is concerning. Ragnow's practice status for Thursday's ( today ) practice is the Lions injury report info I'm most interested in for today. It's possible that Joe Dahl, if he's ready to come off IR this week, will be needed at Center in Jacksonville.

If I recall correctly, Joe Dahl has played Center in one or more pre-season games. On paper, the drop-off from Frank Ragnow to whoever plays Center in this game for the Lions is huge.

The Jaguars injury situation loooks better now than it did early this week.

Davon Hamilton shows flashes of being a big time DT. With Frank Ragnow unlikely to play, Hamilton could cause the Lions plenty of problems.

Jaguars list five players as questionable for Sunday vs. Lions: WR DJ Chark (ankle), DE Josh Allen (knee), TE Tyler Eifert (neck), NT Abry Jones (ankle/hamstring), LB Dakota Allen (foot). Head coach Doug Marrone on the possibility of Chark being able to play: "I feel good about DJ. He practiced on a limited basis today [Friday] but we ran some routes in the team periods and looked good."

If D.J. Chark plays and isn't significantly limited by the ankle injury, that could easily by the difference in the Jaguars winning the game.

Frank Ragnow being listed as Questionable ie better news than I expected. It could well be a 50-50 situation in whether Ragnow plays in this game.
