New Lions safety Jayron Kearse suspended 3 games for substance abuse violation

Lions reach 1 yr. deal with S Jayron Kearse ( UFA-Vikings )

Assuming the first 3 games will be played as scheduled, the Lions won't have Jayron Kearse for 2 Divisional games. This is a setback for the Lions. Hopefully, Kearse has indeed put his mistakes with this incident and anything related, behind him.
