Detroit Lions reportedly sign special teams ace Jayron Kearse from Minnesota Vikings

I like everything about the Lions agreeing to a contract with Jayron Kearse, including the contract numbers, except two BIG IFs:
1. A possible NFL suspension.
2. Overall character concerns because of the incident that probably will lead to a suspension.
Jayron Kearse became much more than a high caliber Special Teams player. He easily could be a better version of Miles Killebrew on Defense. The versatility that Kearse brings to the table fits in very well with what Matt Patricia wants for his Defense.
