Even factoring in potential injuries, it seems necessary for Offensive Like projected starters to play longer in the 2020 pre-season than in other pre-seasons. This also includes TEs.

Having 2 or 3 new starters on the Offensive Line, with 1 or 2 being rookies, would be a challenge for players and coaches in a more normal year. In 2020, it's a challenge that's going to be difficult to overcome. A Guard rotation would make it even more difficult for the starting 5 to gel.

Other than Frank Ragnow and Taylor Decker, there are currently question marks with the Lions Offensive Lineman. Joe Dahl is coming off a season ending back injury. The Lions Right Side of the Offensive Line has yet to have a practice rep with the Lions. Jonah Jackson and Logan Sternberg have yet to have an NFL practice snap.

The Lions will probably go with 9 Offensive Lineman on the 53 man roster at the beginning of the season. It's far from etched in stone, as the expanded practice squad to 16 players and 4 protected P.S. players each week could lead to only 8 Offensive Lineman beginning the season on the 53 man roster.

The Lions Offensive, minus the two boneheaded penalties by Oday Aboushi and some various struggles late in both games has been better than I anticipated early in the season.

It looked to me that 'Big V' had the worst performance in Arizona of any Lions player in the game. Hopefully, the additional practice time at RG can make a positive difference his performance level. The Lions barely overcame his struggles, which also were in the running game.

Tyrell Crosby has a huge test vs. Saints LDE Cameron Jordan. The good news is Crosby looks like the most improved player on the Lions, compared to last season.
