Being that the Lions traded up with the Colts from pick # 85 to pick # 75 and IMHO overpaid the Colts, I think it would have taken a very good offer for the Lions to have traded up 15 picks later. Especially, with the Lions not picking until pick # 109, in early Round 4. The Lions eventually traded down from that spot with the Raiders.
If the Lions would have traded up from pick # 109 to pick # 90, the only player that went in the pick # 90 to pick # 108 range that I would have been comfortable in some cases if the Lions would have traded up for, is Connecticut T Matt Peart. Being that the Lions traded down at the pick # 109 spot, I'm assuming that the Lions would have taken a player that went from # 90 to # 108, if a trade for pick # 90 was made between the two teams.
