Lions continue linebacker shakeup by signing former second-round pick Reggie Ragland, also Elijah Lee

Much like with Reggie Ragland, the benefit of Elijah Lee playing in a Super Bowl ( though in this case on the losing team ) is significant.
Elijah Lee is more along the lines of a Jalen Reeves-Maybin type of LB, who could contribute on expected passing downs, than the early downs/ run downs type of LB Reggie Ragland is. It wouldn't surprise me if Reeves-Maybin and Lee end up in competition for one roster spot between them. With Special Teams being the # 1 key for both of their chances at being with the Lions at the start of the 2020 regular season.
As long as the contract for Lee is at or near the NFL Veteran Minimum, I'm comfortable with the decision in the Lions bring him into the team's fold.
