Chuck Pagano is probably better suited to be a Defensive Coordinator than an NFL Head Coach. He seems like a good fit for the Bears as DC, especially since he's been using a base 3-4 Defense for a long time.


It remains to be seen if Ed Donatell will remain with the Bears, end up in Denver with Vic Fangio, or go elsewhere. My guess is Denver, providing he can get out of his contract if he remains under contract.

One correction from the article. The Packers interviewed Chuck Pagano for their HC opening.

Chuck Pagano is a class act.

With the excellent talent the Bears have on Defense, Pagano has an excellent opportunity to build on what Vic Fangio accomplished.
