Matthew Stafford is at the top of the list of Lions players/ units to watch at the joint practices in Houston. If Stafford is sidelined or significantly limited, the Lions chances of winning in a given game have lessened enormously.
With the Lions far from full strength up front on Defense and Jarrad Davis' status this week at best up in the air, it's going to be difficult to limit/ contain the Texans Offense.

Lions training camp observations: A lot to like about defense against Deshaun Watson
………………..
Considering Amani Oruwariye's struggles in the pre-season opener vs. New England, it's good to see him bounce back with an interception in his first action against a different team following the Patriots pre-season game.
Ty Johnson is definitely someone to pay close attention to in the remaining pre-season games. It looks like Johnson is not only going to be on the Lions opening day 53 man roster. He also could be seeing early regular season action in multiple roles.
