Lions release Parker Hesse, sign two to active roster

The Lions also elevated Edge player Al-Quadin Muhammad for the game in Green Bay, the 2nd straight game he's been elevated for.
It's far from a given that Chris Smith and/ or Abraham Beauplan will remain on the Lions 53 man roster in the days following tomorrow's game. So much probably depends on the health of Mekhi Wingo and Malcolm Rodriguez.
If Parker Hesse clears waivers, I think he's going to be signed to the Lions Practice Squad. With Shane Zylstra being elevated from the PS for a 3rd Straight game, the only way the Lions can use him in games for the rest of the regular season, after tomorrow, if he's re-signed to the 53 man roster.
