Cardinals have not beaten Lions in nearly a decade
........
While the Arizona Cardinals records and overall history includes the Chicago Cardinals and St. Louis Cardinals, the Detroit Lions records and history doesn't include the Portsmouth Spartans records and history in their 4 NFL seasons (1930 through 1933) before becoming the Detroit Lions. The Portsmouth Spartans went 2-2-2 against the Chicago Cardinals. Hence the Lions are 33-26-4 against the Chicago, St. Louis, Phoenix, and Arizona Cardinals combined.

Kyler Murray has made huge strides under Jonathan Gannon and his Arizona Cardinals coaching staff. To the point that he's once again viewed by most as their long-term QB, after there was major doubts following the 2022 season when the Cardinals cleaned house in the Front Office and Coaching Staff.

As was the case with the 1942 and 2008 Lions, and the 1976 Bucs (a first year expansion team), the 1944 Card-Pitt team didn't win a game.
The Lions 6-0 win over the Chicago Cardinals in the 1934 season was part of 7 straight Lions shutouts which began the Detroit Lions history. The Lions were 10-0 in 1934, before losing the final 3 games. The first Lions loss was to the Packers. The final 2 were to the Bears, which won the Western Division with a 13-0 record. The Lions finished in 2nd place in the Western Division. The Giants beat the Bears in the NFL Championship game, a season after the Bears beat the Giants in the NFL Championship game. The Lions beat the Giants in the 1935 NFL Championship game, 26-7, to win the team's 1st of 4 NFL Championships.

Starling Thomas V is one of the few CBs that has the straight away speed to run with Jameson Williams.
Marvin Harrison Jr. concerns me as much as any Rookie WR the Lions have faced in a long time. He probably has more overall talent than his HOF father had as a WR with Indianapolis.

Even factoring in that the Cardinals are likely down to their 3rd RT, the Cardinals Offense is concerns me. The Lions Offense needs to have a much better game than the first 2 games of the season. With protecting the ball extremely important.
