The hamstring injury that Ennis Rakestraw Jr. suffered in pre-game warmups helps explain why Rakestraw was on the Game Day Inactive list.

If Amon-Ra St. Brown practices at all this week, it probably be on a limited basis. I would be pleasantly surprised if St. Brown practices two days this week. If St. Brown doesn't practice at all, he very likely would be kept out of the Cardinals game.

Alex Anzalone's status for the Cardinals game is certainly up in the air.

Penei Sewell didn't have the type of run blocking game vs. the Bucs that's the norm for him. The ankle injury he's dealing with probably adversely affected his play.

Unlike the LA Rams and the Bucs, the Lions first two opponents, the Cardinals are very healthy (relatively speaking), regarding players currently on their 53 man roster.

Alex Anzalone practicing today on a Limited Basis is very good news. It looks like Anzalone is making progress in recovering from the concussion he suffered vs. the Bucs.

If Terrion Arnold doesn't practice tomorrow, he likely will be kept out of the game in Arizona.

Today's injury report should indeed provide a better indicator regarding the likelihood of Kelvin Beachum and / or Xavier Thomas playing in the game. Former Bengals 1st Round selection T Jonah Williams, who was the Bengals starting RT, is on Cardinals IR because of a knee injury. Jackson Barton, the only backup Offensive Tackle currently listed on the Cardinals depth chart, has been a backup T during various stops in his NFL career. Barton has yet to start a regular season NFL game. The loss of Beachum, a long time starting Offensive Tackle in the NFL, would be a huge loss for Arizona, if Beachum is sidelined.

A correction from earlier. Jackson Barton is currently on the Cardinals Practice Squad. There's no backup Offensive Tackles listed on their official website at present.

Even if as expected Jackson Barton is elevated from the Practice Squad for this game, I'm not sure if he would start over one of their backup Offensive Line listed on their Depth Chart at Guard or Center.
