DJ Reader is activated from the PUP list ahead of roster cutdowns

This is great news, even if D.J. Reader isn't ready to be cleared to play in the regular season opener vs. the LA Rams, and possibly in the next game or two that follow. A week ago, at least on this end, it didn't look promising that Reader would be activated from the PUP list before the Lions initial roster was set at 53. At least now, Reader would be eligible to practice beginning this week.
