As long as Josh Paschal is relatively healthy, able to practice regularly, he should have a role in Lions Defensive Line rotation. Paschal's power/strength and versatility along the D-Line are major positives.
Josh Paschal needs to make a much greater positive impact for the Lions as a pass rusher and even elevate his play against the run. Paschal is one of the major question marks with the Lions going forward, now that he's being counted on even more than before Marcus Davenport suffered what probably is a season ending elbow injury.
The loss of Josh Paschal, on top of the losses of Aidan Hutchinson, Marcus Davenport (he suffered a likely season ending injury in Game # 3-at Arizona), and Derrick Barnes, puts the Lions in a vulnerable situation for the Titans game. It would be a far worse situation if the Titans weren't struggling with their passing game and overall Offense.
