Detroit Lions undrafted free agent tracker 2024: Following every UDFA signing
.....
Leading up to Lions Training Camp, I plan on starting threads for at least some of the Lions 2024 UDRFAs. This thread can also be used as a general thread regarding Lions 2024 UDRFAs.
Illinois WR Isaiah Williams, who I would have hoped the Lions seriously considered, if the Lions kept Pick # 249 in Round 7, is the Lions 2024 UDRFA who jumps out as the UDRFA who I believe has the best chance of making the Lions 2024 opening day roster.
Ohio St. LB Steele Chambers, Florida C Kingsley Eguakun, and Mississippi DE Isaac Ikwu are 3 other Lions 2024 UDRFAs that I believe had a very realistic chance of being drafted. All 3 players jump out as priority Practice Squad additions, if they don't beat the odds to land a spot on the Lions opening day roster.
Nate Lynn jumps out because he had a Pre-Draft Visit with the Lions. I think he's going to have to go the Practice Squad route to potentially get an opportunity on the Lions 53 man roster and/ or on another NFL roster.

I'm not confident at this time that K James Turner has the upside to be a short term and/ or a long term solution for the Lions.
