Nate Lynn's arm length measurement at his Pro Day was 31", which is well below average for an DE/ Edge player. Lynn's 40 time was 4.82.
While Lynn doesn't have good NFL measurables and he played at a lower level of compensation, he was productive as a pass rusher and had double digit forced fumbles during his time with William & Mary. His all out style and overall grit, combined with his impact plays, are very likely why the Lions brought him in for a Pre-Draft Visit.
I would be surprised if Lynn was drafted before Round 7. My guess is he's not going to be drafted. With Pick # 249, in Round 7, Lynn would be worth the Lions considering, if the Pre-Draft visit with him was favorable. He's someone who would make plenty of sense as an UDRFA. Even if the Lions would determine Lynn isn't even a good Practice Squad option, he's the type of player who should help raise the bar in training camp practices.
