Long list of 30 visits for Kentucky DB Andru Phillips, source said.
Extremely popular name within league circles that’s enjoyed an excellent pre-draft process.

Andru Phillips is 5'10 5/8" tall and weighed 190 at the Combine. He has 31 1/4" arm length, ran a 4.48 40 at the Combine, with an excellent 42" Vertical Jump.
On the plus side, Phillips has experience on the outside and in the slot. He has plenty of NFL potential at both positions. He also has extensive Special Teams Coverage experience and production. Phillips declared for the 2024 Draft after his Junior Season ended but he already has a college degree at Kentucky.
On the downside, Phillips was only a full time starter in his final college season and he had no interceptions (or forced fumbles). While he's physical for his size, including in run support, he had many missed tackles and is prone to penalties for being too handsy in coverage.
Phillips could realistically be drafted as early as the latter part of Round 2 (I would be surprised if the Lions selected him with Pick # 61) or as late as Round 4. Phillips' lack of impact plays as a CB is the main reason why I don't think the Lions would take him with Pick # 73, in Round 3. If the Lions end up with Phillips, which I don't think will happen, it probably would be with a trade down pick, with Round 4 more likely than later on in Round 3.
