Jordan Magee could realistically be drafted as early as Round 5. I think Round 6 is the most likely landing spot for Magee.
For the Lions, Magee's Special Teams potential will very likely have the greatest impact on his grade on the Lions Draft Board. IMHO, if Magee is also viewed as a player who could become a Nickel or Dime package specialist for the Lions, he could go to the Lions as early as Round 6.
Temple University is where Lions 2012 5th Round Pick Tahir Whitehead played his college ball. Whitehead was with the Lions for 6 seasons and had a 10 year NFL playing career. The vast majority of NFL players drafted in Round 5 don't have even close to a 10 year NFL playing career. Whitehead signed a one day contract with the Lions before the 2022 regular season, when he announced his retirement from the NFL.
