The Lions definitely should give Jake Bates a tryout. He clearly has big time potential as a Kicker. What Bates accomplished for the Michigan Panthers the other day was extraordinary!

The Lions need to be proactive in getting Jake Bates signed. Bates will probably get at least 5 contract offers from other NFL teams, maybe many more than that.

Jake Bates clearly has major potential as an NFL Kicker. Hopefully, the Lions will have the opportunity to workout Jake Bates. Ideally, coming to a contract agreement that makes sense for the Lions.
