Very disturbing news.

I'm not going to assume that Cam Sutton is guilty of the Domestic Violence Charge. However, there's absolutely no way the NFL, Lions and any NFL team should allow Sutton to participate in any team/ league activity unless he's cleared of the charge. The rights and well-being of Victims and potential victims of Domestic Violence are much more important than NFL games and activities.

Tampa and St. Petersburg (Tampa Bay area) are part of Hillsborough County. I'm not sure which city/ town the alleged crime took place.

Lutz, FL is around 15 minutes north of Tampa.

I'm not sure when the Lions found out about the Domestic Violence Charge against Cam Sutton. Emmanuel Moseley agreed to re-sign with the Lions before the alleged crime took place.

I don't know at this time whether Sutton's salary for the 2024 season is guaranteed based on the situation regarding the criminal charge. Also, if as expected the NFL prevents Sutton from participating in any team/ league activity, I don't know whether Sutton's salary for the 2024 season is temporarily off the books.
