Aaron Glenn: 'I'm No Fake'
...........
While the Lions will probably lose Ben Johnson and/ or Aaron Glenn, I'm optimistic that the Lions are going to continue be able to attract good coaches from other teams. Dan Campbell has contributed immensely to the Lions being a desirable team/ organization to work for.
Of the 4 teams that have requested the opportunity to interview Aaron Glenn, the LA Chargers are one I strongly believe he shouldn't accept a HC offer from. This, despite that Justin Herbert is a highly talented young QB. They need an NFL HC with winning NFL HC experience. Pete Carroll would make the most sense for them, as he fits this criteria and has won in LA in College with USC.

Commanders hire Dan Quinn to be head coach
The Detroit Lions are hanging onto all 3 coordinators for 2024
........
I have mixed emotions. While I'm glad Aaron Glenn is remaining with the Lions as Defensive Coordinator, I'm disappointed for him that he didn't land the Washington HC job. Glenn has great leadership skills, is very highly respected by players, and has extensive NFL coaching experience. It remains to be seen if Glenn will ever get an NFL HC opportunity, even though I believe he would be a successful HC in a good NFL organization.
