Isaiah Buggs benched for the Lions opener, downplays his social media controversy

It was attention getting on this end when Isaiah Buggs played in the pre-season finale at Carolina, when no other Lions starting on Defense or Offense, played in the game. On top of that, Buggs was in the game in the 3rd QTR, before being injured. Something regarding Buggs, as it relates to the Lions, apparently did change.
It's now even possible, though not probable, that the Lions are going to move on from Buggs in the coming days or at some point during the season. The salary cap hit associated with the Lions moving on from Buggs is apparently only $ 400,000.
Hopefully, both parties can get back on the same page soon.

Lions NT Isaiah Buggs will play vs. Atlanta
.........
Good job by Isaiah Buggs in earning the opportunity against the Falcons.
With the heavy emphasis the Falcons put on their running game and the effectiveness of their running game, Buggs' skills/ abilities against the run, should help the Lions in this game.
