Quick reaction and impact of the Lions' gambling-related suspensions
...........
It remains to be seen if anything further comes from the Lions gambling scandal.
Last season, the Lions Offense struggled without Jamison Williams and when DJ Chark was sidelined with an ankle injury. While Marvin Jones is a good addition, I remains skeptical he can effectively replace Chark as a vertical THREAT. Unless the Lions add a vertical threat, I'm anticipating more loaded boxes and DBs freely more comfortable trying to jump underneath Lions routes.

One player from every NFL team under pressure in 2023
............
I don't think Jameson Williams should be the Lions player on the 2023 version of this list. If Williams doesn't start making the impact the Lions envisioned when trading up from Pick # 32 to Pick # 12, he would be a prime candidate to be on the list for the 2024 season.
Levi Onwuzurike would be my choice for this list, as the Lions player for the 2023 season.
A sidenote: Jeff Okudah is the Falcons player on this list.

Detroit Lions can't help Jameson Williams with rehab during suspension
..............
The NFLPA, which is supposed to advocate for the well being of NFL Players, should have insisted that Jameson Williams and other players with a similar suspension, should have access to team trainers and doctor, during the suspension. It doesn't have to be at the team facilities.
