Much like Jarrad Davis and Tim Boyle, Tom Kennedy gave the Lions his best. It wasn't good enough this time around for Kennedy to survive the cutdown to 53. The roster logistics weren't in Kennedy's favor. Hence, it's not a surprise that he will be released by the Lions later today.

If Tom Kennedy clears waivers, I think the Lions will make him a Practice Squad priority. Both, from the standpoint that he would provide insurance at WR and enhance the team in practice and meetings.
