If Jonah Jackson doesn't have a setback, he should be ready by the Cowboys, if not by the Patriots game.

The injury situation at WR is concerning. The Lions are extremely thin at the position, if all of the WRs out of practice yesterday (Wednesday), are out of the Patriots game.

It makes sense to keep both D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown out of the Patriots game. Especially, with the bye coming up. Swift already suffered a shoulder injury, when playing with the ankle injury that limited him. Likely, because he was trying to compensate for the ankle injury.

D.J. Chark went from Limited Practice yesterday to No Practice today. At best, he's highly Questionable for this game.

If Charles Harris is out or substantially limited with his snap count, Derrick Barnes and/ or Anthony Pittman could get more edge snaps than usual. James Houston or Jarrad Davis could be elevated from the Practice Squad for the game.

Austin Seibert easily could miss his 2nd straight game.

Very good news regarding Jonah Jackson.

WR and DE are the positions for the Lions of greatest concern, because of injuries.

It's safe to say that WR Maurice Alexander will very likely be on the Lions Game Day Roster, with the likely outcome being Alexander elevated from the Practice Squad for a 2nd straight game. This is even if the Lions expect Amon-Ra St. Brown to play and that Josh Reynolds is able to play again.

The Lions have many more injuries than the Patriots. Yet, the Patriots are going to very likely be without 3 starters that are a very important part of their winning formula.

In addition, LB/DE DaMarcus Mitchell, an UDRFA from Purdue, was getting plenty of Special Teams snaps, in the early part of the season.
