John Cominsky quotes/ info: 2022 season

Good news regarding Frank Ragnow and Amani Oruwariye. The next two days are huge, regarding their availability at Minnesota on Sunday.
If Aidan Hutchinson is back tomorrow and he doesn't have a setback, I think he will be cleared to play at Minnesota. With John Cominsky out, the Lions need Hutchinson that much more. Both as a DE and as a DT in expected passing situations.
If D'Andre Swift is able to practice on Friday, I think there's a pretty good chance he will be active for the Vikings game. With a much less workload for the 2nd straight game a very realistic possibility.

Lions at Vikings: Initial injury reports for both teams
...........
Because Harrison Smith suffered a concussion this past Monday Night, there's less time for him to go through the entire NFL Concussion Protocol, in time for Smith to be cleared to play against the Lions.
Other than in the Secondary. the Vikings are very healthy, compared to other NFL teams.

I would be very surprised if Jonah Jackson plays in the game at Minnesota.
If Aidan Hutchinson practices tomorrow and doesn't have a setback, I think it's more likely than not that he will play in the Vikings game.

Detroit Lions Week 3 injury designations: Jonah Jackson OUT, 4 starters questionable
.........
Another option for the Lions on the Offensive Line is using Frank Ragnow at one of the Guard positions, with Evan Brown at Center. Ragnow was the Lions starting LG as a rookie. So much would depend on whether Ragnow practiced a Guard position (s) this week. If Ragnow wasn't dealing with a foot injury (groin wasn't listed on the Friday Injury Report), it would be easier for Ragnow to practice at a position he hasn't played in a number of years. Brown is a high caliber back Center and can play Guard. But because of bulk strength limitations, Brown is a better fit at Center.
