Dan Campbell offers injury update on Lions center Frank Ragnow
..........
Because of the need for the injury to Frank Ragnow to heal, that Evan Brown strong performance against the Commanders, and that Brown didn't allow a sack last season, I expect the Lions to proceed on the side of caution with Ragnow. This is definitely what I believe the Lions should do.

Lions C Frank Ragnow selected to 2022 season Pro Bowl Roster

In the Bears win over the Lions in Chicago in 2021, which was Game # 4, Frank Ragnow had an off target snap that resulted in a turnover. That was Ragnow's final play of the season, as he missed the rest of the season because of a Turf Toe injury that required surgery.
While I expect Ragnow to continue playing until the end of the Lions 2022 season, it seems likely that he's going to need surgery for an at least somewhat similar injury.
It's hard to fault Ragnow for his struggles in this game. The injury, combined with missed practice time, playing surface on a cold day, and the quality of the Panthers interior Defensive Line, headed by DT Derrick Brown, proved too much for Ragnow to overcome in this game.
