This is the most surprising NFL trades, at least on this end, in a long, long time. With Aaron Rodgers signing a mega contract extension with the Packers, I thought it was near certain that Davante Adams would remain with them, at least in the 2022 season...one way or the other. his is even with Adams stating that he wouldn't play under the terms of the Franchise Tag.
Even though Davante Adams turns 30 later this year and they cleared the Salary Cap Space associated with the Franchise Tag, I think they should have received more from the Raiders for Adams.
