With Tyrell Williams still dealing with the affects of the concussion he suffered back on September 12 ( a full month ago ), I hope he's advised to retire as a professional football player. The risk of Williams playing again seems too high. As much as the Lions can use Williams' WR skills if he gets to the point that he's cleared to play, his long term health should be the priority.

Amani Oruwariye had an interception against the Ravens. Alex Anzalone was the only Lions player to have an interception against Kirk Cousins / Vikings this past Sunday.

Hopefully, Taylor Decker will be ready to play in a game soon.

Tomorrow should provide a better indicator of where things stand with the Lions players that didn't practice today.

One thought that immediately comes to mind is the chances of Jermar Jefferson getting his first opportunity in a regular season game for the Lions are higher in the upcoming game against the Bengals than in at least tbe previous 4 games.

It seems highly unlikely Taylor Decker will play in this game.

The players currently on the Lions 53 man roster all will likely be healthy enough to play vs. the Bengals. But having 14 players in IR before the 6th regular season game, a few being key contributors, has made an already likely rebuilding season that much more of an uphill battle.

No one on either the Lions or the Bengals 53 man roster is listed as Out or even Doubtful.

It remains to be seen if Joe Mixon will be able to handle his usual workload. How Nixon's ankle responses as the game moves along is one of the key game questions?

No surprise regarding Taylor Decker not being activated for the game.

The Lions elevated WR Geronimo Allison and CB Nickell Robey-Coleman from the Practice Squad for tomorrow's game vs. the Bengals. But for the time being, there's only 52 players on the Lions roster ( 53 player maximum ). It's realistically possible Allison or NRC could be the 53rd player on the Lions roster as early as Monday. Hopefully, no additional injuries for the Lions ( or the Bengals ) will occur tomorrow.
