Corey Ballentine wasn't on the Game Day roster against the Packers, in GB, on MNF. But with a few more days to become familiar with the Lions playbook and the injury in GB that landed Ifeatu Melifonwu on I.R. , the chances of Ballentine being active vs. the Ravens are probably around 50%. Especially, since Ballentine also has big play Kickoff Return ability.
Good waiver claim decision by Brad Holmes. The overall skills & versatility Ballentine brings to the Lions, at a very low salary cap cost, makes Ballentine a good risk / reward pickup.
